Structure

The ETTEC organisation is a vzw (non-profit organisation according to Belgium law).


The organisation has the following bodies:

General Assembly

The General assembly is the highest body of the organisation. It is composed of all the working members of the organisation.


 

Board of Directors

The Board of directors leads the organisation and is elected by the General Assembly. The directors are:

  • Chairman: Eric de Ruijter (OSAT, NL)
  • Secretary: Lies De Backere (STEPP, BE)
  • Board member: Anders Larsson (STTF, SE), Sacha Ritter (IGVW, DE)

The chairs of the working groups are "ex officio" members of the Board of Directors, They participate in the meeting, but don't have voting rights.

Working Group Quality

The Working group Quality supports the Board of Directors in all matters concerning quality of the service and the organisation. It is composed of specialists in the field.

Working Group Research and Development

The Working Group Research and Development supports the Board of Directors in the development and maintenance of occupational standards, assessment procedures and course material. It also supports the assessment centres and assessors in the interpretation of the procedures.

Working group Administration and management

Working group Administration and Management supports the Board of Directors in the administrative tasks of the organisation, including the delivery of certificates.

International mediator

To ensure fair and independent appeal and complaints procedures, the General Assembly has appointed an independent  international mediator.
